Relics on ‘Tour’

The relics of three young saints were in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Ballarat on Thursday, June 12 between 11.30am and 3pm as part of the pilgrimage promoting the Passionist Youth Encounter in Melbourne (July 9 -12) and the World Youth Day celebrations in Sydney in the following week.

Annual Collection for the Pope

Once again the Annual Collection for the Holy Father is to be taken up throughout the world on the weekend nearest the Feast of Ss. Peter & Paul (29th of June, 2008).  The collection will be taken up in this Diocese on the weekend of June 28/29 (or July 5/6).
