We pray for the international community, that the outcome of the American election will create new possibilities for peace and cooperation.

We pray for countries where COVID-19 is out of control, that authorities will take the urgent action they need to protect their people.

We pray for scientists of every kind, that they will put their expertise at the service of peace and the well-being of the world.

We pray for all who have suffered as a result of war, that Remembrance Day this year will bring them healing and hope.

We pray for Australia’s civic, business and political leaders, that they commit themselves to practice the ethics of integrity.

We pray for the Aboriginal and Islander peoples of Australia, that this week’s NAIDOC observance will highlight their ancient custodianship of the land.

We pray for students facing decisive exams, that they will succeed in overcoming the handicap of their disrupted academic year.

We pray for those who died recently deceased Ron Ryan, Frank Murphy, Berryl Cottrill, Iberia Laso, Ray Lourey, Sheila Holland, Anne Finn (Melb), Eleanor (McCluskey) Bourke and all the faithful departed, especially Bob Warren, Roslyn Earl, Kevin Bowman, Mother Catherine McCauley RSM, Frs Frank Crowe & Serzants, Sister Ethel Carroll, Those Killed in the 1991 Dili Massacre of 271 people, Kath Harman, and all our loved ones who have died.

CELEBRANT: Holy God, you have anointed us with your Spirit of wisdom. Give us the courage to follow the path of wisdom wherever it may lead. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
