Real-World Change Team Award 2023

St James’ Primary School Sebastopol staff were awarded the Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child “Real Change Team Award” for Digital Play. The award recognises practice change due to integrating the Philosophy of Technologies in a play-based approach to learning and teaching at St James’ Parish Primary School.

The partnership between the CI Paatsch, AI Edwards, school leadership and teachers in the early years of schooling has been established over the past 18 months, to enhance understanding of the lived experiences of children’s digital worlds and the ways that these can be represented and enacted in a play-based learning approach.
