Global Catholic Climate Movement
This month is a historical time to take action against climate change. On November 30, world leaders will inaugurate the Paris Climate Summit (called COP21) and sign a treaty to tackle the climate crisis. And throughout November, we will pray and mobilize as never before, to put into practice the Pope’s Laudato Si message. To get started, the Bishops of the world just released an impressive “Appeal to the COP21 Negotiating Parties” and our movement responded with this “Call for a Month of Climate Action”. Read here. To warm up, watch the Pope’s call to action - see more here.
You may like to take time on each day of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris (November 30 - December 11) to pray Pope Francis' Prayer for the Earth (Laudato Si' 246).
