We are now in the Discernment phase of the Plenary Council and we continue to seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
People who participated in Listening and Dialogue are now invited to reconvene in communal Discernment on the six themes.
For the next few months, we will focus on one theme each month. As a diocese we will be focusing on the theme of Missionary and Evangelisation during September.
How is God calling us to be a Christ-centred Church that is Missionary and Evangelising? This National Theme for Discernment is inspired by the voices of the People of God who shared a passion for participating in the missionary nature of the Church and desire stronger support, involvement and formation among all the baptised who make up the Church.
Download the SNAPSHOT REPORT to see a sample of the voices and answers that inspired this theme.
Please contact your local parish or organisation for information on Listening and Discernment experiences.
